Two eaglets take in their surroundings with the moon over their shoulders; they are probably within 2 to 3 weeks of fledging.

Did you know:

Eaglets hatch after 35 days of incubation and remain in the nest for 10–13 weeks before they fledge or take their first flight. Often, the fledging process is gradual—beginning with branching, leaving the actual nest but not the tree—and may take several more days or even a week before they fully fly away from the nest tree.
