Thanks for the Visit

A male Ruby-throated Hummingbird dropped by for a quick visit last Sunday, and it was good to see our old friend again. Maybe next time he’ll turn and face head-on so we can catch a glimpse of that glorious throat of his.

A feathered fact

The average hummingbird has around 940 feathers, remarkably dense coverage for such a small bird and an important adaptation for insulation, flight control, and agility. (Source: Audubon Southwest)

Many of these moments eventually find their way into the Fine Art Print Store, where a curated selection of wildlife and nature prints is available.
