Fun with the Sun

Back in July there was the right atmospheric mix of smoke, dust and haze to that allowed for an unfiltered capture of our orange setting sun. Although ~ 93 million miles away, it appeared as though it was just over there, a beautiful sight. While processing the images, I noticed sunspots. Captured similar sunsets last year, but never noticed any sunspots, so I found this interesting, and hope you do as well. There are 3 images with a couple of closer cropped images to highlight the sunspots.
