Green Stink Bug

Last week while out sitting and waiting (it’s what photogs spend a lot of time doing), this bright green shield-like flying thing flew by and landed on a tall grass. Nothing but an invitation to go investigate for sure, so meandered over and took a closer look and it was something I hadn’t seen before. It DID have the shape of a stink bug, but it was green. While researching it later, sure enough, it was a green stink bug. It’s a pretty good flyer as well with a nice set of wings!
