Robins in the Puddle

We’ve been in a serious drought for several weeks, but we recently had a significant rainfall (with more to come the next few days) and oh what a relief it is. Decided to take a hike along a prairie between the raindrops, and came across a puddle on the trail that was quite the happening place for our feathered friends. Captured some robins as they took advantage of the fresh rain to take a bath, cool themselves off and splash that wonderful rainwater all over the place. At one point the waiting line was pretty long . . .
