Nothing Like a Fresh Catch
This is MY fish… Mine… All… Mine. After a successful catch from the Mississippi River, the eagle flies off with its prize, heading for a nearby stand of trees to perch and enjoy a well-earned meal.
What’s on the Menu
Fish make up roughly 70–90 percent of a Bald Eagle’s diet, but these powerful raptors are highly opportunistic feeders. They’ll take advantage of what’s most available and requires the least energy to acquire—often following waterfowl migrations to scavenge injured birds, or feeding on moderately sized mammals such as groundhogs.

Many of these moments eventually find their way into the Fine Art Print Store, where a curated selection of wildlife and nature prints is available.
