Just Blending In

Nothing to see here, just blending in . . . This Sandhill Crane and its mate were foraging in a marshy area with tall reeds and grasses. What you can’t see are the two small colts that were tagging along, which is a good thing since the odds of a colt reaching adulthood is roughly 50% whether through predation or other causes.
