I Got This!

ZuZu has always been the most athletic of our golden retrievers, and when she’s not running around the house trying to surprise an unsuspecting squirrel, she loves to chase and catch frisbees. Lately we’ve added a new game she loves: catching the squeaky green ball.

When she’s ready, she’ll turn to trot and we’ll toss the ball high into the air. As soon as she spots it in her peripheral vision, she figures out where it will land and snags it on the first bounce — or maybe the second, depending on how good the throw was.

Of course, no successful catch would be complete without a couple of triumphant squeaks from the ball.
