How Cute are These!?

What’s as cute as a bug’s ear? How about hummingbird eyelashes!

Did you know?

Hummingbirds have two outer eyelids (upper and lower) to block the light, along with an additional clear eyelid called the nictitating membrane. This transparent membrane allows them to see while protecting their eyes from wind during flight—much like built-in aviator goggles. Hummingbirds even have tiny eyelashes. (Source: Hummingbirdspot)
